I am a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I majored in Advertising and Public Relations through the School of Media and Journalism. I became interested in the advertising and public relations world during the spring semester of 2017 when I was introduced to a media ethics course. Since then, I have assisted the advertising team at The Daily Tar Heel, my school’s newspaper.  I researched past advertising trends and helped plan future campaigns with new clients. I also had the opportunity to intern in Dublin, Ireland. While abroad, I worked in the marketing and public relations department of the non-profit organization, Acquired Brain Injury Ireland. During my internship, I wrote press releases, social media posts and worked on a full website redesign. Most recently, I interned at Intrepid Marketing Group where I wrote and scheduled weekly social media posts for various clients, created media lists and pitches, and helped create content strategy by researching industry trends and engagement levels. I  aim to pursue a career in public relations and continue expanding my knowledge in the field. When I am not busy, I enjoy watching Netflix and eating on Franklin Street with friends in my college town. Please check out some of my work!
